    Thank you, ladies! I hope you had a good day. One of our colleagues has an American parent - I don't know if it's Mum or Dad - and she brought in some pumpkin pie. It was lovely.

    Yes, my brother had it at his house; we and my parents drove out for it. We didn't have to cook or clean! And the children got to hand-feed the neighbor's cattle (and scratch their noses). A pretty pleasant day.
