The prospect of Sue Ryder Care taking over Davison house as such is not what concerns me; what I am worried about is the preparedness or otherwise of nursing homes and people's houses to host rehabilitation care after long periods in hospital, which can require some specialised equipment, especially if the person in question has went "off their feet".

The link was very interesting: I know that Sue Ryder are very dedicated and prefessional in their fields of work, and if Sue Ryder Care lease Davison House, I wish them well.

FDFrugal Dougalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07459572116047155640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1926775615646909337.post-37742047323434200362008-08-17T13:24:00.000+01:002008-08-17T13:24:00.000+01:00There's no need to be concerned over Sue Ryder Car...There's no need to be concerned over Sue Ryder Care taking over the service.

They are quite specialised in providing care for people with terminal illnesses and long term care for people with neurological conditions. They employ highly trained nurses and carers, and offer a huge range of therapies too, including physiotherapy, massage therapy, and hydrotherapy, in some places.

While there are some older people in their care - along the lines of nursing care, this is not where their work lies.. It's neurological care that is the main focus these days.
www.suerydercare.orgAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
